When I started out in real estate 25+ years ago, I thought real estate was just about houses. I was young and nobody I knew ever talked about commercial real estate. I soon found out that commercial real estate touches every part of our lives including income, legacy wealth, schools, education, business, health, social position, politics, power,  poverty and - even racism.  If you are at the table and you are not creating real solutions to provide access to real capital to African Americans to buy, build and develop, then you are just talking.
